Sooooooo I wanted to share a pretty fun campaign I recently did for Hasbro (the toy brand!)

Hasbro wanted to reach out to a wider audience, that went beyond mummy bloggers and their children. They wanted to launch a new influencer marketing campaign that would position their products in a unique way and make them cool to millennials.

Filmmaker Keiichi Matsuda has created, 'Hyper-Reality', a short film on how AR, (augmented reality) might look in the future. I saw it a couple months back and it still blows my mind!

Adidas D Rose Jump Store: #jumpwithdrose

This has got to be one of my favourite viral videos of all-time! It's urban and really gets your adrenaline going.  

In 2014, Chicago Bulls star Derrick Rose took up residence at a "pop up store" in Hackney where all the Adidas shoes were free, as long as visitors could reach them from a ten foot high shelf.

Adidas invited kids from East London via @adidasUK and Facebook to the store, where they had 24 seconds, the amount of time it takes to make a play in a basketball game, to jump the height of a basketball rim and grab the shoes.

The Campaign won 5 Awards at the Creative Circle Awards including 4 Golds!

MTV Brand New: who you need to keep your eye on in music for 2016

Last Wednesday I went to MTV's #MTVBrandNew event, a gig that features acts that are set to take the UK by storm in 2016.

There were two events for this - the first was presented by Craig David, with support from Brand New nominees Anne-Marie and WSTRN. The event I went to was hosted by Bloc Party, and they shared the stage with Brand New nominees Rat Boy and Nimmo.

The event was awesome! Being a R&B and garage fan, I'll let you guess who I'm hoping wins the title this year. 

This year's winner will be revealed Tuesday 2nd February...

Last week I attended a continuous digital learning day in work. We have them about once a month to keep up socially savvy and inspired!

YouTube gave us a workshop session on their platform and one of the interesting nuggets I got from the meeting was a case study on the famous Volvo Trucks video featuring Jean-Claude Van Damme.

YouTube told us, that at it's climax, the viral video got even more searches than sex - that's definitely what you want out of a branded video!

Cardiff’s Biggest Party: X Festival 2015

A couple of week ago me and the girls hit X Festival and oh lord did we have a good time... from what I can remember.

It was so good to see Cardiff have such a big music event in the city! I think my Snapchat nearly exploded with the amount of fun I was trying to film. Sorry Snapchat friends for having one hell of a long story!

We went to the Saturday festival, mainly to see the queen Annie Mac :)

Inside My Drawer: Social Media Essentials

Last week I started a social media campaign, which looks into everyone's drawer who works at LONO Creative. 

With the help of Nora's creative flair, (a designer I sit next to) we've taken pictures of stylised drawers which represent the professional and personal lives of Creative Directors, Graphic Designers, PHP Developers and Account Executives. Take a little peek into my drawer below. It shows everything a social media manager should hold dear in life - Twitter, iPhone, iPad... leopard print! Ha. I think it looks like the quintessential 'geek-chic' style - what do you think?

A night out in London doesn’t come cheap, especially if you’re the kinda gal that’s a fan of the cocktails. Who doesn’t love those mornings when you wake up feeling a little bit smug from the night before knowing you’ve dodged a few quid here and there!?

Last week I was contacted by the lovely ladies at Drinki, a new mobile app for girls that let’s you have a completely free cocktail in various bars across London in return for a simple Facebook check-in. Yep, you read that right – COMPLETELY FREE! Available to download (also for free) from the App Store or Google Play, Drinki allows you to have 1 drink per bar, per day. The app will always show you the next available time you can get a free drink at each bar. Emma, (one of the creators of this genius mobile app) asked me to check it out and give a review.
