A little peek into what I think is pretty decent from the digital world!
1) Topshop Virtual Catwalk
So seeing as London Fashion Week ended last week I’ll start with Topshop’s virtual catwalk. At their flagship store in Oxford Circus they offered fashionistas a 360-degree virtual experience of their runway show. In the fashion industry, Burberry usually leads the way with digital innovation; they’re always coming up with cool new ways to engage consumers, but Topshop definitely caused a stir with this catwalk experience. So many major fashion brands seem to be coming up with new digital solutions to revive the buying experience at the moment. The verdict: digital is going to be a big trend for AW14!
2) InstaSize
Ok, so I may be a little late here, but I’ve only just discovered InstaSize. Thank god for this little star app! Hate it when you upload a picture from your camera roll to Instagram and the photo-sharing app cuts half of the picture away? InstaSize uploads it all so nothing gets removed! Wahooooo!
3) Kanye Vs Creative
This online game is pretty funny. Can you figure out who
offered up these pearls of wisdom, Kanye West or a Creative?
It can be hard for media peeps to keep coming up with
unusual Twitter bios. Need a bit of inspo? Try this Twitter Bio generator. I
wonder if it was created by the same people who gave us
Where The Fuck Should I Go For Drinks... such profanity.
5) Code Academy
I know it’s a bit geeky (sorry coders and developers!) but whenever I get a bit of spare time, I try to learn a bit of code. This website gives beginners a step-by-step guide. It’s sooooo easy to understand, plus it’s free! SHABBA!
