The Way I Feel About Cardiff... in GIFs

Happy Easter all… for the bank holiday weekend I plan on visiting the most amazing, spectacular country in the whole world….

Wales.

No, I’m not being sarcastic; I seriously love it. Yes it is my hometown but I’m sure I would love the place even if I wasn’t born and bred there.

I love the sense of community Wales has to offer, the gorgeous scenic views of the Valleys, (by the way the MTV show The Valley’s is not a good representation of that) and the sheer friendliness of welsh people, which I never truly appreciated until I packed my bags for the big smoke two years ago. I’m a bit embarrassed to admit I still get homesick sometimes (even though I’m 25!) so I thought I would cast my mind back to some good ol’ memories I have of Cardiff and present them in GIF-form. From match-days to night’s out on the town, take a look though and let me know if you can relate to my feelings!

Me on rugby match days… when Wales are playing England.

How I feel when the bouncer at Soda doesn't let me into 'The Attic'...

Thinking I'm tha shiiiit when I arrive at Mocka.

But when I leave Mocka...

When I go to Soda for a night out and realise I’m the oldest person there.

Eating as much as I can in Charlstons, in the bleak hours of Sunday morning.

When I see the queue for Revolution on a Saturday night

When I heard St. David's 2 was opening.

When one of my friends recommends a night out down Cardiff Bay and it’s not summer yet.

When I hear someone refer to Chippy Lane as 'Chip Alley'
