Some days you’re in a bad mood that’s hard
to shake off. You may have been hit with an unexpected bill, lost your beloved
iPhone or encountered the worst-case scenario – put on weight.
Not to fear! I have created a quick
self-help guide to turn that frown upside down! (I’m such a good rhymer I
know…)
Now whenever you feel the need to scream,
cry, or pull your hair out, you can try a couple of my feel-good suggestions to
snap out of that fiery temper of yours and find your inner calm. I reckon it
beats counting to 10!
1)
Listen to your favorite song –
maybe have a little shake too.
2)
Get a good night’s sleep. I’d
recommend at least 8 hours.
3)
Tell a silly joke – I’ll get
you started…. Why did the Mexican push his wife off a cliff? Tequila!
4)
Smile more, even if you don’t
feel like it. Try and trick yourself that you’re happy.
5)
Get in the gym and sweat out
that bad mood! We all know exercising releases endorphins - the body's natural happy
drug.
6)
Treat yourself to a cocktail –

7)
Wear something glittery
–sparkles are simply mesmerizing.
8)
Pay someone a compliment – Make
sure it’s genuine and spread the good times around!
9)
Wear fur (but make sure it’s
fake!) – What is it about wearing fur that makes you feel instantly like a
superstar?
10) Do something different this weekend - You know
how it goes. You imagine all the things you would like to do if you had enough
time and then when the weekend hits all you want to do is have a massive lie-in
and catch up on your favourite TV series. Take action now, do something
different today. Something you have always dreamed of doing.
