MTV Brand New: who you need to keep your eye on in music for 2016

Last Wednesday I went to MTV's #MTVBrandNew event, a gig that features acts that are set to take the UK by storm in 2016.

There were two events for this - the first was presented by Craig David, with support from Brand New nominees Anne-Marie and WSTRN. The event I went to was hosted by Bloc Party, and they shared the stage with Brand New nominees Rat Boy and Nimmo.

The event was awesome! Being a R&B and garage fan, I'll let you guess who I'm hoping wins the title this year. 

This year's winner will be revealed Tuesday 2nd February...

What gets viewed more than sex on the internet?

Last week I attended a continuous digital learning day in work. We have them about once a month to keep up socially savvy and inspired!

YouTube gave us a workshop session on their platform and one of the interesting nuggets I got from the meeting was a case study on the famous Volvo Trucks video featuring Jean-Claude Van Damme.

YouTube told us, that at it's climax, the viral video got even more searches than sex - that's definitely what you want out of a branded video!

Cardiff’s Biggest Party: X Festival 2015

A couple of week ago me and the girls hit X Festival and oh lord did we have a good time... from what I can remember.

It was so good to see Cardiff have such a big music event in the city! I think my Snapchat nearly exploded with the amount of fun I was trying to film. Sorry Snapchat friends for having one hell of a long story!

We went to the Saturday festival, mainly to see the queen Annie Mac :)
